About

About me

I am an India-based environmental journalist, focused on climate change, agriculture, land rights, gender, and public health. My work weaves together data, human stories, and policy insights to reveal how environmental issues shape lives and livelihoods across India and beyond. I’ve reported for leading national and international publications including The Hindustan Times, The Statesman Ltd, DD India and Mongabay and many more with a strong commitment to solution-driven, evidence-based journalism that moves conversations from awareness to action.

As a Fellow of the ALT EFF & Mongabay, Earth Journalism Network, IUCN (International Union For Conservation of Nature), and Climate Feed—where I was recognized among the top six fellows globally—I’ve undertaken reporting projects that explore the pathways toward sustainability, regenerative practices, and equitable climate transitions. These experiences have deepened my focus on the intersection of environment, economy, and justice.

I believe in the power of journalism to inform, engage, and inspire change. Through my work, I aim to spotlight stories of resilience and innovation that can guide a more sustainable and inclusive future
